Ukraine Crisis - Help Yana and Irma get to safety

Hi, my name is Phil; I am fundraising to try and get my Ukrainian fiance, Yana and her daughter Irma to safety in the UK. Because of Putin's military action, Yana and Irma have been forced to leave their home and flee for safety twice in the last eight years. The first time was in 2014 when Russian backed soldiers entered Donetsk and terrorised the civilian population. Yana and Irma decided that they would have to leave their home. They left everything behind just so they were safe. Firstly they travelled to Moldova, where they were held for a year in a camp. Then they were refused asylum and was sent back to Ukraine. After that, they got themselves to Lithuania. They were then arrested and held in prison for three days before somebody took them in handcuffs and leg chains to the 'No man's land' at night, then unchained and dumped them between Lithuania and Belarus. Somehow they managed to make their way back to Ukraine. They then spent a few years living in Kyiv, sometimes down on the subway system, before going back to Odesa.

We met in 2018 and were to be married in Spring 2020, but the pandemic stopped that. Once travel restrictions were over, we made new plans to marry in Spring 2022, but sadly Putin's invasion has once again stopped that. Yana and Irma have now managed to get to Poland, and I'm trying desperately to bring them home to safety with me in the UK. However, this all costs money, and I have spent all the money I have getting them into Poland. As a self-employed window cleaner, I just don't have enough to fund all of the Visa applications and travel expenses. Yana has type 1 diabetes, and I am worried that all this upheaval will significantly affect her health and well-being and her ability to obtain insulin now that she is away from Ukraine. Any help you can give would be very appreciated more than you could imagine by Yana and Irma, who are desperate and homeless once again.

Any money that is raised over and above the amount required for their Visa and travel expenses will be donated to help other Ukrainian refugees who need help getting to saftey.
