Missions Trip to Uganda!

Hello friends, family, and anyone else that has come across this page! I just want to say THANK YOU for so much as taking your time to be here right now.
What is This For?
Last year, by God's grace and the support of family and friends, I was able to go to Malawi on a medical missions trip through my university. There, I saw poverty, injustice, horrible disease, but among it all, genuine Christian joy in those living in Jesus Christ. I made great relationships there that I still keep up with, and have had a heart to minister in Eastern Africa again.
Now, this coming May, 2018, I will be going to Uganda for just over 2 weeks with a local church! Here, we will be focusing on two ministries. Word of Hope is a bible school in the country's capital, Kampala, where we will be interacting with local students, and participating in devotions, services, and outreach. Home of Angels, in Jinja, is a home for orphaned children where we will be doing children's ministry, community outreach, and interacting with whoever we can in order to pass on and cultivate the love of Jesus Christ.
My Personal Need:
First and foremost, I ask for your prayers in the many aspects of this trip:
- Financial and logistical preparation for this trip
- Spiritual preparation for myself and the team
- Healthy team dynamics and leadership
- For God to begin working in the hearts of those that we will meet in Uganda
- For those who do not yet know Jesus Christ to receive salvation
- Safety and health during transportation and our stay
- For Word of Life, the staff, leaders, and students
- For Home of Angels, the staff, children, and surrounding community
Second, this trip will cost roughly $4500.00 CA for flights, ground transportation, food, accomodation, and ministry funds for needs we may come across while in Uganda. If you are able and willing, I am asking you to prayerfully consider financially partnering with me; any donation, however seemingly small it may be, is so incredibly appreciated and helpful.

Why This Trip is Important to Me:
This trip to Uganda has the same vision of discipleship and salvation as the previous trip I went on, and I see it as another milestone-a step of faith in my relationship with God-in the big picture of discipleship. The team has had discussions and outreaches purposefully planned so that we can begin to prepare our own hearts for the work to be done in Uganda, by the strength and grace of God, and to return home with the mindset of continuing that work here. The greatest gift that can be left anywhere is the Word of God, and that is the heart of this trip.
"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'"
