Help Tracy pay her Medical Bills
Donation protected
Our dear and darling Tracy Hicks could use our help. A malignant polyp was found during a recent colonoscopy and it was removed, but she must undergo robotic surgery to remove a portion of her colon around the polyp's location. We won't know if the cancer has spread past the wall of the colon until after the surgery, but so far the testing has shown that it probably has not.
As you might imagine, these types of procedures are not cheap, even if you have insurance, which she has. So, I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help her with her annual out-of-pocket maximum outlay, which is $8150, plus fees and out-of-work time. (She won't be able to work for roughly a month after the surgery). The out of pocket expenses will start from scratch in January, during which time she will very likely have ongoing treatments to pay for.
On the plus side, she finally got her first tatt. It's the Chinese symbol for "get outta here, b!&%h!". (They tattoo the place where the polyp was removed so that they know where to perform the surgery). :)
So, let's please work together to help our Hicks so that she can continue to be the Depeche Mode-loving, kitten-fostering, wise-cracking Tracy that we all adore.
