Sage's Journey

Sage joined our family on October 19, 2020. About two hours after bringing her home she began throwing up blood. We originally thought it was because she had eaten something bad from her previous home, long story short she was perfectly fine the next day. A week later, she began puking, had diarrhea, and didn't drink or eat for 24 hours. I was able to get her into the vet on October 30th, where she was diagnosed with parvovirus. They let me bring her home, where I had to syringe feed her, and give her IV fluids in a syringe 8x a day. The next day, she wouldn't move. I rushed her to the animal hospital where they admitted her. That Sunday night, I received a call from the veterinarian saying she was lifeless and to expect her not to make it through the night. The veterinarians decided to do everything they could to save her life. The next morning came, and I received a call that she was doing amazing. A week later I was able to bring her home if we paid $500 up front. She is doing much better now, but our other puppy was diagnosed the same day we brought Sage back home. With all that being said, we do not have pet insurance and as of right now, we owe  $2,000. Every little bit helps and we understand that not everyone can make a donation, if you cannot, please just say a prayer.
