In order to survive the Covid-19 pandemic, our charity is temporarily diversifying and making scrubs for our local hospitals, hospices, care homes and care providers in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
As a charity we really need your help to fund this cause so that we can make and send out the scrubs where they are vitally needed. Any donation, no matter how small will help us.
In order for us to make the first batch of scrubs we have needed to spend a little over £500 to obtain the fabric, sewing cotton and interfacing - this amount will make approx 25 sets of scrubs, but we are unable to keep funding them, so every penny you donate will help us to make more - and as we've all heard on the TV they are desperately needed.
Our volunteers are giving their time and expertise for free.
Our normal charity work of using donated wedding dresses to make into burial outfits for Angel babies taken too soon will continue during this time. We do not require any wedding gowns at this time.
We also supply memory pockets for babies too small to dress and for miscarriage together with a certificate of life. These outfits are gifted free to hospitals, funeral directors and private families.
We also raise funds to supply Cold Cuddle Cots to hospitals and funeral directors giving grieving families time with their baby before arranging a funeral.
Any funds remaining once this pandemic is over will help us as a small charity to continue our work.
