Help us find Nori!!

Please help us find Nori! Nori is a 4 month old English Mastiff who went missing at approx 730pm on March 8th on the intersection of Ci and E in Palmyra, WI. Nori was presumably stolen. Her tracker was deactivated on our property. Unfortunately, after posting to numerous lost dog groups, we were contacted by an overwhelming number our people with similar stories in the span of 1-2 weeks. We were disgusted to find out just how common this is and how blind we were to the possibility of this happening.

Nori’s owners are absolutely heart broken. Caitlyn and her boyfriend, both service members, decided to get Nori as an ESA (Emotional Support Animal) after deciding to leave the military and transition back into civilian life. To say she is devastated is an understatement. Not only do we feel violated, but we don’t feel safe. Someone lured her yard trained pup off the property and away from our other 2 dogs, they seemed to know what they were doing and immediately destroyed the tracker. The scary thing is, it just takes a matter of seconds. Caitlyn looked away for less than a minute to help her 8 month old niece. The minute she didn’t see Nori, she called for her. Her heart dropped and had a search party within 10 minutes. If this can happen to us, it can happen to everyone. A lot of people have asked us why she wasn’t leashed. If someone was going to come onto our property, then a leash would not stop them. The stories we have heard from other victims are horrifying. People taking dogs out of fenced yards, cutting leads, even catching people in the act. THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT PEOPLE ARENT TALKING ABOUT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE.

We are hoping to use the funds to further the search with an investigated specialist for all of the dogs involved and increase the cash reward. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
