UConn BFA Acting Showcase 2018
Donation protected
Hello!
We are the UConn BFA Acting Class of 2018 and we are currently in the stages of planning our Senior Showcase in NYC in March of 2018. We will be performing scenes for industry professionals such as agents, casting directors, managers and theatre companies in order to gain exposure as we enter the professional acting community.
As a class we have decided to take unprecedented measures in having both an open showcase for the industry and the public, as well as a closed showcase with Actors Connection. Actors Connection is the largest educational and networking studio in NYC. We have teamed up with them to network, train and showcase with today’s leading talent agents, casting directors and managers.
In order to fund both of these exciting opportunities, we are asking for your help. The UConn Department of Dramatic Arts has graciously provided us with a solid basis of funding, but we still have many additional costs to cover. Your generous donations will be used to help us pay for: a closed showcase experience with Actors Connection, printing and promotional materials, catering, transportation, headshots and résumé prints, etc.
We are eleven hardworking and dedicated theatre artists. We have spent our four years at UConn training under renowned professors and mentors, studying internationally in London, as well as gaining professional experience performing with Connecticut Repertory Theatre. We are now prepared to take the next step in our careers and your contribution allows us to do so.
Thank you in advance for any amount you are able to give. No donation is too small! Please consider sharing our efforts with friends and family in order to help us achieve our goal.
Thank You!
