Dave Ward's Speedy Recovery
Donation protected
Early on November 30th 2015, Dave had a hemorrhagic stroke, likely caused by hereditary but asymptomatic hypertension. He has since been in the capable care of a wonderful and compassionate team of healthcare professionals in the North Fulton Hospital CCU.
There is a lot that we don’t know yet. As Dave has been slowly weaned off of the sedatives, he’s become more responsive and his reflexes have become more sensitive and pronounced. He has opened his eyes several times over the last few days (as of 11 December), albeit for short periods. He’s also had some response to commands. Progress is slow and incremental, but each day is a little better than the one before. The fact that he’s young, strong, otherwise healthy, and got to the hospital quickly are all factors working in his favor.
Please help support Dave and his friends and family as he recovers.
