Hurricane Harvey CTR Academy

On August 28th CTR Christian Academy was flooded with three feet of water due to hurriciane Harvey. All the school supplies, books, computers, curriculum and the like were destroyed. We estimate that only 10% of what was inside the school can be salvaged. 

CTR Christian Academy is a unique school that mixes homeschool with public school. It is funded only by the parents who enroll, who are also mourning this disaster.

 Charlie and Heidi Barnett are a kind and selfless couple who have been teachers at the school from its beginging. They are parents to Nola, Hannah, and Charlie (all under the age of 15).This past May they chose to move into the home, out of which the school is operated, to continue to run it rather than seeing it close due to health issues of the owner. They have lost all personal items as well as school related items with the exception of a few changes of clothes. This includes beds, funiture, a car, appliances, and so on.
