My name is Aly Panjwani and I am the founder of the organization, United Against Struggle(UAS). UAS is a non-profit organization devoted to raising awareness about trials and tribulations in developing countries around the world. Its mission is to create self-reliance, sustainable development, and socio-economic growth while instilling cultural values through local events, fundraising, and other public appearances.
Currently, our focus area is the region of Tajikistan in Central Asia. Recently, this region has been devastated by a horrendous civil war, taking the lives of many. Due to this disaster, students and young adults have been affected psychologically due to the presence of war at such a young age. In Khorog, the NGO, “Marifat,” is hosting a camp, for the second time, to help rebuild a positive attitude within all students in the region. United Against Struggle will be assisting in putting together this camp and providing funds to help it run efficiently. At the camp, students will interact through various activities such as the arts, academia, and sports to bring them together as a community. To meet these funds, UAS is requesting for your support in our goal to help this camp in Khorog run efficiently.
UAS participated in raising funds for this camp when it took place last year as well, raising $1200 towards the cause. Unfortunately, UAS is still at its starting stages and has not yet been able to attain the 501c3 non-profit status, making it very difficult to raise funds to put together the event. United Against Struggle would like to partner with your company or individual self to assist us in efficiently running this event and efficiently raising the funds to help those in need in the city of Khorog, Tajikistan. Any monetary funds or support as an official sponsor of UAS would be much appreciated!
