La España Azul es la 1ª expedición científica y divulgativa navegando a vela alrededor de España. Liderada por el aventurero Nacho Dean, tiene el objetivo de elaborar el primer mapa de la historia sobre contaminación por plásticos y microplásticos en las costas españolas. Una iniciativa pionera con un alto impacto social y medioambiental, a nivel nacional e internacional.
Comenzó en septiembre de 2022 en el País Vasco y durante 10 meses está recorriendo el litoral español analizando el estado de los ecosistemas marinos, hasta concluir su recorrido en Cataluña en junio de 2023. Aquí puedes ver diferentes noticias en los medios de comunicación.
¿A qué se destinan los fondos recaudados? Al análisis, en el laboratorio de la Universidad de Cádiz, de las muestras tomadas desde el barco a lo largo de todo el litoral español y la posterior elaboración del artículo científico con todos los datos y conclusiones.

La España Azul is the 1st scientific and informative expedition sailing around Spain. Led by the adventurer Nacho Dean, it has the objective of preparing the first map in history on pollution by plastics and microplastics on the Spanish coasts. A pioneering initiative with a high social and environmental impact, nationally and internationally.
It began in 2022 in the Basque Country and for 10 months it will be touring the Spanish coast analyzing the state of marine ecosystems, until concluding its journey in Catalonia in June 2023. Here you can see different news in the media.
What do the funds raised go to? Your donations will support the analysis, in the laboratory of the University of Cádiz, of the samples taken from the ship along the entire Spanish coast and the subsequent preparation of the scientific article with all the data and conclusions.
