UAF Helps Rebuild Houston

Donation protected
Hurricane Harvey has called United Aid Foundation (UAF) to action. The scope of the catastrophe is far too big for the government to handle. In fact, the head of FEMA said the people of this nation will need to get involved.

For over a decade, UAF has responded to disasters all over the world. We are there when disaster strikes our own country as well, delivering food, medicine and supplies. Our team includes specialists in home construction and rehab of houses damaged by water and mold.

Plan of Action:
As soon as the waters recede enough to operate, we go to Houston. We are will identify a specific community in great need for our direct attention. Homes, most likely without insurance, will need to be emptied, cleaned and likely gutted before they are safe to live in. Appliances and furniture we be needed to be replaced. Food, water, clothing, even school supplies for these families will be necessary. From our experience in the Baton Rouge flood, we estimate it will cost $15,000 per home and a lot of dirty work to get a family back to some semblance of a normal life.

How you can help:
If you want to see where your donation is going, what it is buying, and meet the people you are helping, make a donation to UAF. If you are in the Houston area and are interested in volunteering or you're interested in making a donation larger than $1,000, contact us at [email redacted].

United Aid Foundation is a registered 501c3. All donations made are tax deductible. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter for further updates.
