Rehabilitation of Rape Victim

My best friend Emma Lopez - Pound was recently the victim of a traumatic rape by the people we are meant to trust with our lives, represent safety, and respect in our society. She was raped by a police officer while other officers turned their heads and allowed this horrific event to take place. My best friend was then expected to just keep her mouth shut and not speak up for her rights or the rights of rape victims before or after her. She decided  to make the brave decision to speak up and report her rape to the authorities.
She went to the hospital where a rape kit was performed and it was concluded that she was raped. She under went multiple and invasive tests that have now set her up with a grocery lists worth of medication including very harsh HIV prevention medication that she will be taking for the next 28 days and possibly even longer . Emma also suffers from a seizure disorder that was under control until this happened. She now has to take medications that not only cost a great deal of money, but also put her at high risk for kidney and liver failure. She has to be monitored by doctors every week to make sure that her levels are stable. She has been connected to a great lawyer who is doing everything in his power to help bring her justice. She has been connected to a therapist through our great and loving church and a psychiatrist who she is meeting with twice a week and weekly and to help her through this time and lead her through recovery from such a traumatic experience. 
Emma is also a wife and a mother of two beautiful children who are also going through this with her.
The medical expenses have stacked up to the point where insurance is not going to be enough.
She and her family have paid so much out of pocket to where they can't do it anymore. She is unable to be alone or go to public places due to high anxiety. She has remained strong and is fighting to come back from this, but she has a very long road ahead of her and needs your help. Her whole world has been turned upside down.
