Please help me

My name is Marcus Douglas and I am a Grade 12 student at Lester B. Pearson High School. I have been given the opportunity to represent Alberta on their U18 provincial rugby team this March in Vancouver and I need your help to raise the required funds to cover travel and hotel expenses.

I have been involved in rugby for three years and have played for the Pearson Patriots, Calgary Irish (CCIAC U17 City Champions and second place in provincials), Celtic Barbarians (U18 Victoria Sevens Consolation winners) and the Calgary Mavericks. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to make this high level team.

To participate on the U18 Team Alberta, I am required to cover my travel, hotel and tournament expenses. However I am unable to raise this money by myself. I am the oldest of four children in my family, being raised solely by my mother. I am working a part time job at Moxies and I am also working a number of small side jobs to help raise as much money as possible on my own.

I would humbly ask for your help and assistance in my journey to play rugby with Team Alberta. Every dollar carries me a step closer so thank you in advance to helping me on this exciting journey.
