Joe Herndon Funeral Expenses

This is Julian Herndon writing this on my dad Joseph Herndon's behalf. On saturday July 22nd around 9:00pm my dad was riding his motorcycle home from a graduation party by himself and somehow struck a curb, was thrown from the bike, and landed roughly 30 yards from the original point of impact. He arrived at the hospital in critical condtion unresponsive and the doctors really did not know if his body would be able to bounce back from the injuries he sustained. He was not wearing a helmet and really hurt his head in that he is still in a coma and is just starting to show signs of brain activity and subtle movement in his eyes, neck, and feet. He has many broken ribs, a broken bone in both his neck and back, and a broken femur that was operated on last night. My dad will be in the hospital for months to come and will have an even longer road to recovery once hes stable enough to leave the hospital. We are asking that any friends or family could help me and my family in making sure that my fathers logistics are taken care of while he is unable to do so. we are not yet sure if he will be able to return to his own home or will have to stay with family for one on one care once he leaves the hospital but we are going to try to keep his home and vehicle taken care of if possible. For as much as we already have to worry about on a day to day basis hoping for good news any type of donation will help ease the stress level some. We appreciate to the very fullest all of your love and support during this time.
