Cheddar Needs Surgery!
Donation protected
Cheddar broke his Femoral Head (femur bone that goes into the hip socket) and needs surgery to fix it. The surgery is called Femoral Head Ostectomy. FHO is is a surgical operation that involves removing the ball of the upper leg bone that connects with the hip bone so that the 2 bones do not rub together abnormally and cause severe pain. It is the best option and he will be back to his normal self in about 2 weeks. We are hoping to schedule the surgery for tomorrow (March 13th) but we need $3000 to schedule it. The total cost of the surgery will be around $4000.
As most of you know, Dan & I love our cats (Cheddar & Gus) and they are our "children". They bring us a lot of joy & comfort and we just want Cheddar to be okay and not in pain. Sadly, there is no other choice but this surgery to fix his femoral head bone.
We are humbled and grateful for any donation you can give towards Cheddar's surgery.
