Turkey & Syria Earthquake Appeal

Hi Everyone,

My name is Lisa-Marie Saygivar, I'm a local businesswoman who is trying to reach a goal of £10,000 to send as aid to help those affected by the devastating earthquakes. Reports now suggest that more than 21,000 have been killed, and many thousands more injured. These figures continue to rise.

People have lost their lives, homes, families and businesses and your donation can help the survivors with food, shelter and help with the rescue of those that are still trapped under the rubble.

I'm half Turkish myself and felt obliged to do something to help! We have a few different types of fundraising events lined up to raise funds. We have a physical fundraising event in Belfast on Sunday 19th of February in Revolution De Cuba in Belfast from 3-6pm and also an online fundraising event from the 19th-21st of February on my website www.arinadur.com where I have donated 100's of cosmetics products and 100% of sales will go straight to this cause so donating to any of these events will be much appreciated! If you enter the online fundraising event you will also be entered into our prize draw having the chance to win a 2 week all-inclusive holiday in a 5* hotel in Turkey!

We are splitting these costs between The British Red Cross & we have direct contact with the frontline workers currently in Turkey where search & rescue teams are working tirelessly to find any survivors.

With temperatures reaching below freezing, we must get these funds to them as quickly as possible to rescue as many people as possible before hypothermia sets in.
