USAU Players of Color U-24 Fees

The United States U-24 Team cost are challenging for most players in the sport of ultimate, but I believe it to be additionally challenging for those players of color. Ultimate is a white-male dominated sport. The community sometimes skims past those players of color who might not have the same access of funds as their counterparts. My hope is that this fund limits the financial burden for those POC who want to tryout but are held back by other financial obligations.

The initial goal right now is to fully sponsor one player (with intent to sponsor a player in each division). If the goal is met we will continue to raise more so that others are able to have the opportunity of representing their nation, while also allowing these players to be a representation to a younger (and even older) generation who are inspired by players who "look like me." 

Any amount of funds donated will go a long way in the minds of these athletes. It speaks volumes and lets them know that they have their community's support. Join me in helping ease the mind of at least one player as they prepare to make an impact on/off the ultimate field.
