U20 Lacrosse World Championships team

Hey, my name is Amy a sports student, lacrosse coach and international lacrosse player. A sport recently selected to be an Olympic sport from 2028.

Following my success playing for Ireland U21 in the European Championships, I have now been selected to represent Ireland in the 2024 U20 Lacrosse World Championships in Hong Kong this August!!

Ireland lacrosse is a fully self-funded team and even once all players pay the required amount we are still 15,000 euros short. As lacrosse is not a funded sport we require external support from fundraising and sponsorships.

This is why my dad and I have decided to under take a few activities. The first being to run the Bath half marathon on March 17th as part of my training plan and to help raise funds for me and the team.

30% of what is raised will go directly into the Ireland lacrosse Team helping to afford the competition fees, kit, equipment, accommodation and food. The other 70% will help me as a player reach my mandatory fees.
