Ty's Medical Funds

Ty, an English Cream Golden Retriever, was born in December of 2016, and he joined our family in February of this year! Ty has become a great addition to our family, and we adore him! He has such a happy and loving personality and always makes us smile! In May, Ty became very ill and wasn't acting like his usual joyful self. After many vet visits, tests, and procedures, Ty ended up at the University of Pennsylvania Vet School Hospital (UPenn) where they diagnosed him with SEVERE arterial deformities and shunts in his liver. Our family was devasted. His only hope for survival is a surgery to correct the abnormalities. We found out last week that a specialist at UPenn is able to perform this surgery to save Ty's sweet life. This needs to be done as soon as possible, as he is growing and his liver is unable to support him. The only barrier to this surgery is the cost. We need to raise the funds to cover his surgery and medical expenses. Our family has endured many losses. Ty's life has been a sense of hope and joy for us. We hate to watch him suffer, and we dread the thought of another potential loss. Even though he is "just a puppy," he is part of our family. We want to do all that we can to save his life!
