Dear friends,
Thank you for visiting our Page on behalf of Bicol Association of Manitoba, Canada. We represent 6 provinces comprising of local Manitoban-Filipino whose origins are of Bicol Region in the Philippines.
On Sunday Nov 01, 2020, a historic category 5 Super Typhoon ROLLY devastated 3 Bicol Provinces Catanduanes, Albay and Camarines Sur. The Direct hit from the typhoon left a devastation with thousands of families homeless, no food, no water, no electricity this week .
Our mission is to add to the current Disaster Relief (by Red Cross, Military aid). The monetary funds raised from this Go Fund Me is 100 percent to be distributed to the 3 Provinces in small communities who may not be unable to visit relief areas. Our direct local contacts within the communities are ready for our Mission.
The funds raised are to immediately feed families and provide necessary needs.
Unfortunately our families from Manitoba from the various 3 provinces have been effected also by the disaster. The Bicol Association of Manitoba is an active participant over the years providing Relief Aid and fundraising for Typhoon disasters, Mayon Volcano eruption disaster , etc.
Any monetary aid will be appreciated on behalf of many families from the Bicol Provinces now in need to rebuild their lives from the worst disaster in history “Super Typhoon ROLLY”
