Typhoon Cebu Philippines

On December 12, 2021, Cebu, a province in the Philippines Central Visayas region was hit hard by Typhoon RAI. A longterm friend and business partner, Manfred Lakner, lives in the area with his wife, a Philippine native and his five children. Fortunately the survived the catastrophic situation. However, as almost all their family and friends in their village San Fernando, they los almost everything.

Who am I and Whay am I doing this?

My name is Friedrich Renoth, I'm a 62 year old German citizen living in Dublin, GA, USA. I came to the US three years a go for an assignment as Plant Manager of a Automotive Supplier. I´m married with 4 grown up children who all live in Germany,

This is my first Gofundme campaign. It is important to me because my friend and Business partner Manfred Lakner is in the middle of it and together with him his family and fellow villagers in San Fernando, Cebu, Philippines.

As we can see in his video and images (pls refer to my Blog article, pictures were taken by Manfred), the village was completely destroyed and people are in a critical situation.

The funds will be used to e.g. help rebuild houses and repair infrastructure.

Of course at some point the question will be: how was the money used? We will develop a documentation about how the money was used and what we achieved with it.

The money is required asap, as people should be able to recover from the Typhoon soon.
