Hi Friends, Family and supporters!!
Im Tyler Bennett and I just recently graduated from high school in June!! Since Middle school I have always dreamed of attending College in my favorite city, NYC.
And to my surprise I got accepted into the college that I actually wanted to go to first, Marymount Manhattan!!
Unfortunately, I didnt recieve enough financial that I need to make this dream a reality, so I am asking for help to pay for tuition, housing and books and travel fees for my freshman year. By the time I start my sophmore year I should be able to attain more funding through financial aid and scholarships.
My parents are hard working actors and my mom put her career on hold to be home for my sister and I, especially for my last year of high school. My dad is my family's sole provider at the moment which includes my grandparents. So I dont want to be a financial burden on them if I dont have to be. My father works on the road with a Broadway show.
My yearly cost for school will be about 40,000. I am asking for 30,000 as I have around 10,000 in loans.
I am majoring in Film and communication arts and minoring in Psychology.
