Tyler Modlin’s cancer fund
Tyler went in for check up on 10/28/20 after a lump in his neck kept growing. After many scans, a biopsy, a PET scan, a MUGA scan, and another biopsy that required surgery, Tyler was diagnosed with Stage II B (bulky) Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Tyler has masses in his neck and three large masses in his chest above his diaphragm. Tyler is on a strong regiment of chemo meds because he is young and healthy and his doctor wants to attack the cancer quickly. Tyler has 6 rounds of chemo planned (2 treatments per month for 6 months) as long as his labs remain good and he doesn’t not get COVID he will can proceed. Tyler receives a medication the day after chemo to help build up his red blood cells. Tyler will have another PET scan 1/18/21 to see how the cancer is responding to his treatment. Tyler will mostly likely start radiation after chemo depending on how much the cancer has shrunk. Tyler is a peace officer, volunteer firefighter, Army Veteran, and the father of 5 boys. We appreciate the love and support.
