I am in a desperate place.
In summary: I need help, hope, and a miracle. I cannot afford basic needs, and am afraid I won’t be able to continue sustaining my positive mental health because I won’t be able to afford psychiatry, counseling, and medication, nor physical health, because my spine is degenerative and I need chiropractic/orthopedic care.
In detail:
Three years ago, working 7 days a week relapsed my depression and I was sent back to the hospital. While resting and job searching, I pulled from a loan to pay for rent, bills, and expenses. As the years passed, I almost got it paid off until my roommate moved out and I had to shoulder $1200 monthly rent plus back-rent from the roommate until I was able to move out. This sent me back deep into the loan and it’s obscene interest rates.
I am now finally in a good place mentally, but am afraid it won’t stay that way long. I pay $325 every two weeks as a loan payment. Due to a degenerative spine, I had no choice but to seek chiropractic care and have to pay $300 a month out of pocket since my $1500 deductible hasn’t been met. I make roughly $700 every two weeks. I can barely afford to buy my gas to work, let alone touch the $700 in collections from my hospital bill (which is why I cannot get a credit card to curb the loan). I owe my boyfriend several thousand because he generously helped me cover rent when I was scammed out of a sublease for my old apartment, he has also helped me with groceries that I cannot afford and I insist on paying back. I also owe an unnamed loved one $400 for similar reasons. I cannot even dream to pay them back for several months thanks to this new chiropractic expense, which is not fair to them.
Any donation is gratefully and tearfully received. I am not a proud person, but it sincerely pains me to reach out for help in this manner, for I far prefer to work for what I receive. I am so willing to work another job, I am not afraid of hard work, but I know my limits. I mentally and physically can not.
These gifts and donations will be put towards good and responsible uses: firstly, to reduce this loan payment so I have wiggle room between payments. This wiggle room will help me buy groceries, clothing, shoes, and most importantly, pay back collections and loved ones.
