Two Sisters Tack N More Needs Your Help

As many of you know Dee and Yvonne were involved in a horrific accident on April 3rd. Neither of the sisters is comfortable asking for help so I am asking for them. All funds will go towards a replacement horse trailer, vet bills, insurance deductibles (both medical and car), etc.

On April 3rd Yvonne was driving their van and towing one horse trailer with 3 horses, while Dee was following her towing another trailer. They were heading to the school where Yvonne teaches for explore week. Explore week is a week of learning something other than your usual academics. Yvonne was excited to teach the kids about horses.

While traveling up I275, Yvonne had a blowout. According to witnesses, the van rolled three times. Dee was directly behind her and witnessed everything as it was happening. Sometime during the rollover, the horse trailer detached from the van and rolled down the embankment of the highway. Unfortunately, one horse passed away instantly, the other two horses survived the accident and are recouping at home. One horse is showing additional physical injuries today, however, nothing that appears to be life-threatening. A vet appointment has been set up for him and he may need to see a Chiropractor. Yvonne was treated and sent home with instructions to monitor for a possible concussion. She is sore and bruised up today but is healing.

Thank you to the Department of Public Works for showing up onsite to help with Breeze. We are not sure what Public Works Department it was but Thank You. The confusion came in because the accident was right on the border of Wayne and Monroe counties. We would also like to thank the property owners where Breeze was laid to rest and the strangers that stopped to help them. Of course, a big shot out and thank you to the first responders.

Dee and Yvonne continuously open their house and farm up to the kids in the community. They teach the kids how to take care of the horses, teach them how to ride, shoot pool, provide snacks, do bible studies, bonfires, etc. My daughter has been going there since I can remember and we even held one of her birthday parties there. They are amazing people and need help that they would never ask for.
