Two Knees at Once

Hi, I’m Chico - an 11 year old spoodle - one of the originals. I used to play like a young puppy until 5 weeks ago when I tore my cruciate ligament in my left knee. I made do with a hobble and have to say, I mastered it…until two weeks later while I was waiting for my humans to save for my surgery, I tore the cruciate ligament in my other knee. Hobbling days done. 

I had TTA surgery on my left knee last week (check out my cast!) and even just one week later, the one they karate chopped is already my better one. I’m a pretty tough puppy so I’ve kept my spirits high and while I’m patiently waiting, I thought I'd write this to you. 

Here’s the thing. I didn’t mean to hurt my first knee, and definitely not my second one, especially so soon. I’m bathed in a lot of love and couldn’t have asked for better mumma’s. They’re doing it tough though and could only pay for 1/3 of my first surgery upfront just to give me some relief. They do so much for me, so I’m making this GoFundMe page to ask if you can help me help them. 

My left knee surgery was $3,800. There’s still $2,500 owing on this one.

Once I’m recovered, I’ll need pre surgery X-Rays on my right knee + the same surgery again. That’s $750 + $3,800 = $4,550

Because maths is new to me, I’ve been up all night cramming, but I triple checked and I’m pretty sure the grand total is $7,050. Yikes, thats 1007 packets of chews which would last me 19 years! Based on this maths thing, if I gave up my chews and put that money towards my surgery, I'll be 30 years old...

I can only go back to the park after both surgeries so please can you help me raise what is needed to get there soon.
