Twirlisha Devine presents Legends & Icons 2024

Hello!! My name is Twirlisha Devine. I am an ecdysiast performer, educator and the CEO of Twirlisha Devine Productions, LLC. Last year I solo produced my first big production, Twirlisha Devine Presents Legends & Icons - An All Black Burlesque Revue. L&I was an incredible 2 night event headlined by the legendary Shawna the Black Venus, starring an international cast of live and virtual acts. Each night the cast got to show a different facet of their burlesque repertoire creating a different experience for our audience at each show. It was a cathartic experience both on and offstage and I am excited to be have the privilege of making it happen again this year! I am notorious for not asking for help. I put myself through the ringer last year to bring my love letter to the Black Burlesque experience to the stage on my own. I learned a lot and the most important lesson was that I don't have to do it all on my own. It's okay to ask for help and my community showed up and showed out for me in ways I will forever be grateful for. In the spirit of vulnerability and giving myself the grace to know I am capable of great things with a little help from my friends, I have decided to crowdfund to offset some of the costs of producing this ever growing weekender. Your donations will go towards everything that makes this how happen including show pay, travel stipends, housing and meals for performers, production costs (set and venue decor, digital and print marketing materials etc.), paid advertising, photography, videography, etc.

Legends and Icons is going to be even bigger, brighter and BLACKER in 2024!! I'm not going to give all the surprises away but I'll give you a little tease...
