Twin Cedars Drama Club Launch

My name is Stephanie Hays and I am the new sponsor of the all-school play for the Twin Cedars Community School District Junior-Senior High School. I am in the process of (re)establishing the drama club, mounting our first production of the year, and I have our first Thespian chapter in the works! All of this takes time, talent, and, you guessed it, treasure! Just the costs of scripts and rights for our two one-acts will be $600! The students interested in having the Drama Club want it to be so much more than just the play...they want it to be a regularly meeting, educational, relationship building extracurricular activity. We want to move forward and establish a chapter of the International Thespian Society at our school. We want to go to state and national conferences and have the chance to study with masters, see shows, and make friends from all across the state and nation.

I told the students we would have to "Start Small and Dream Big." While we have a small start up fund, we need so much more to give these students the theatrical experience they deserve! They are willing to work hard. Help us revive theatre at Twin Cedars!
