‘Forever Home’ Initiative

Welcome to the fundraising page for Open Arms United Church of Christ (OAUCC). We are a diverse, vibrant, dedicated community of faith committed to fostering love, equal acceptance, understanding, and unity in our congregation and beyond. Open Arms UCC is a home to a joyful community of seekers and believers in Christ, extending our hands far and wide, inviting everyone, without exception – no matter your race, creed, or circumstance.

Our current church facility has served us remarkably well for some time now, but as our congregation grows, our beloved home has become increasingly less able to comfortably accommodate us all. With each passing Sunday, it becomes clearer that we require a 'forever home' to extend our reach to more individuals seeking a place of worship and fellowship. Though our faith and mission remain strong as ever, we now find ourselves in need of expanding our capacity to serve our ever-growing flock and the wider community more effectively.

Funding is required to make the big dream of a ‘forever home’ a possibility. As such, we humbly ask your support in our GoFundMe campaign to secure a larger, more accessible space where we can thrive, serve, worship, and foster even deeper bonds of community. The 'forever home' will not only provide much-needed room to accommodate worship services, but also serve as an expanded platform to foster our key community and service values. These include initiatives like youth ministry, community outreach programs, workshops, supportive meetings, and various events that serve both our congregation and the wider community.

By supporting our expansion, you are investing in a cornerstone of togetherness, community spirit, and shared faith. We understand that not everyone is able to contribute financially, and that’s perfectly alright. Your prayers, encouragement, and the sharing of this campaign are just as appreciated. Every small act pushes us closer to our 'forever home'.

Donations will go directly towards the acquisition of our new space, necessary renovations and upgrades to make it a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone, and to be able to kick- off a few new community initiatives once we're settled in our new home.
