Turkish needs knee surgery

Many of you know Turkish.  I got Turkish 4 years ago and he means the world to me.   He is a wonderful dog that loves everyone. Unfortunately,  Turkish has recently been diagnosed with a torn ACL ( anterior cruciate ligament) in his back left knee.  For large dogs like this, the vet has told me the best way to fix his leg is to undergo TPLO surgery. Some days he can walk with a limp and some days he cant put any weight on it.  I can't bear to see him in constant pain and limping anymore so I have scheduled the surgery. Luckily, I have maintained doggy insurance but when all is said and done I will still be on the hook for about $2300 for his post op meds and follow up visits. GIven a number of other financial obligations I'm struggling to put together the money.  Any help you might be able to provide would mean the world to us.
