Turkey Earthquake Emergency for Toprak Family

Hi Everyone! My name is Sevgi Toprak, I live in California, USA and This fundraiser is for my family who was badly affected by the terrible earthquake. My whole family lives in Hatay, Turkey, where the major earthquake of 7.8 magnitude was experienced on February 6, 2023. We suffered the devastating consequences of the largest land earthquake ever, and I lost many relatives and friends. However, my surviving mother, older sisters, brother and 6 nephews were left homeless. All our houses were destroyed, our cars were under the collapsed buildings. There is not even a building left to live in in my hometown Hatay, and my family is still on the street with the danger of freezing in this icy weather. While the effects of the earthquake still continue, my family has to start life from scratch. Therefore, they have to leave the city we have lived in for years and start a new life in another city. My mother is 60 years old and does not work and we lost my father 3 months before the earthquake. All these experiences are unbearable for my mother, and she has no one to take financial support from. Due to the difficulty of starting life from scratch as a result of this extraordinary situation, we need your help to relieve my family's pain and to start life again with a warm home. Whatever you feel like, every penny will go towards the costs of my family moving to a new city and all the needs necessary to start life over.
