Tumbleweed Radio - A Southwest Podcast

We here at the World Journal are putting together a podcast called Tumbleweed Radio for the purpose of compiling and telling some of the stories that are so abundant here in the Huerfano, Las Animas and Colfax counties. We are going to cover stories from this moment in time and from history, and we are looking forward to collaborating with various local groups in order to give more folk from our community a voice. We will talk about culture, science, history, and weird events, and we are dedicated to making entertaining and educational content.

Unfortunately, podcasting equipment is expensive, and so are editing hours. In order to be able to focus on investigating and telling stories full-time, we are seeking to fundraise $10,000 which will be used to pay our staff, pay for training, and take us to the various places where the stories are. We will start having episodes come out at the start of April and we want to run at least all summer, so the sooner we meet our fund-raising goal, the better.

We are so excited about the possibilities the future holds and we are already hard at work to make this podcast come to life, but we would reeaaally appreciate your help. Thanks so much!
