O brasileiro Tomé Lima Viana, sobrevivente de um acidente automobilistico nos Estados Unidos na manhã deste sábado (9), continua em estado grave na UTI do Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Tomé estava em um veículo com o irmão Túlio de Giovanni de Menezes e uma garota. Os dois últimos morreram na hora. O carro se chocou com uma picape na cidade de Pacífica, norte da Califórnia. Túlio estava de férias com os pais na Califórnia, onde Tomé mora.
A família precisa de fundos para se manter no país após a tragédia que alterou completamente suas vidas. Só o traslado do corpo de Túlio está orçado em US$ 8.000. Seus pais haviam depositado todo o dinheiro da viagem na conta de Túlio, morto no acidente, o que impossibilita neste instante a retirada por imperativo legal.

The Brazilian Tomé Lima Viana, survivor of a car accident in the United States in the morning of Feb 9th, remains in critical condition at the ICU of Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Tomé was in a vehicle with his brother Túlio de Giovanni de Menezes and his girlfriend. The last two died on scene. The car collided head on with a pickup truck in the town of Pacifica, Northern California. Túlio was on vacation with his parents in California, where Tomé lives.
The family needs funds to stay in the country after the tragedy that completely changed their lives. Only the transfer of Tulio’s body is budgeted at U$ 8,000. His parents had deposited all the money of the trip in Tulio’s bank account, dead in the accident, what currently makes the withdrawal impossible due to legal restrictions.
Therefore, we count on the sensitivity and solidarity of all the friends and community.
