Hello Friends of TuckerGate!
As most of you know TuckerGate is a Ohio State Buckeye home game tradition that spans more than 15 years. It started with my best friends Bill, Joe, Scott, John and Ken and has has grown to host 100 or more of our family, friends and colleagues. In recent years Lori, Chuck, Reggie and Doug and their friends and family have joined the contingency and continue to be a large part of the TuckerGate family.
Over the years we have supported MidOhio Food Bank and Breast Cancer Awareness. Celebrated memories include an aerial fly-by wedding proposal, engagements, bachelorette parties, milestone birthday celebrations and of course supporting and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!!
This past winter the TuckerGate vehicle has surpassed its life span and had to be given up for salvage.
After personally supplying several vehicles over the years I am reaching out to the TuckerGate community and fellow Buckeye fans to gain support for the purchase or donation of another vehicle to carry us through the next several seasons.
Along with a vehicle purchase, this campaign is to gather funds to help replace some damaged tents, tables and TV's along with any associated expenses.
We are hoping to secure enough funds by August 2018 in order to give us enough time to secure a vehilce for the opening home game September 1st. Any funds left over will go back into the tailgate to update equipment or other tailgate expenses.
I don't have to tell how much our tailgates mean to all of us!! It is the best 7 weekends of every year when we all get together to celebrate our friendships and The Buckeyes. Looking forward to another great season with all of you!!
