TU Dublin Home Run
Technological University (TU) Dublin Home Run is a charity event being run by final year Sports Coaching and Management students from TU Dublin Blanchardstown.
Our original event was canceled due to COVID-19, and unfortunately could not be organised for a later date due to the uncertainty of these times. However, we have come up with an alternative event for people to partake in and in order to continue to raise much needed funds for our chosen charity BUMBLEance. We have come up with three different challenges, where people can choose one, video themselves completing the challenge and put it up on their Instagram story. Remember to tag our Instagram page @bumbleance_homerun. The person can then nominate 5 people to also do the challenge, and then donate €5.
The aim of these challenges is to raise funds for the BUMBLEance organisation, which is the Children's National Ambulance Service. This organisation provides a national service for critically ill children in Ireland who require transportation to and from pediatric hospitals, hospices, national treatment centres and respite care.
These challenges not only aims to raise money and awareness for BUMBLEance, but also continue to encourage people to be active and creative within 2km of their homes during these times.
Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated by the TU Dublin Home Run team, as well as BUMBLEance and the children of Ireland.
