I am the new art teacher at Innovations High School in Chicago, IL. Innovations High School is an Arts Integrated Alternative School for Urban Youth in Downtown Chicago. IHS is focused on project-based learning. IHS offers an innovative and challenging arts-integrated experience in a small school setting.
Many of the students at IHS are recet dropout who have experienced hardships in life. IHS offers a second chance to these students with an arts-integrated learning philosophy. The culture of the Innovations High School campus is one of family and support for all students.
Innovations High School went several years without an Art Teacher. Supplies are limited and I am asking for your help to stock the classroom with the tools needed to succeed in art.
