Home Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
I've started this "go fund me page" for my nieces Ellen and CarolAnn Chakoutis; they've been through very challenging times over the past month. They lost their brother Nick (my nephew) at only 53 years old after a six month illness. We lost Nick this past February, just 4 weeks ago. Ellen and CarolAnn lived together in a small but charming home in Salem, MA; just days ago on March 15, 2018 their home caught on fire, and they have lost everything. My niece CarolAnn was home with their four rescue dogs. . . thankfully, she managed to escape injury while gathering and protecting the family pets. Sadly, they have lost all their late Mom's (my sister's) heirlooms and priceless treasures. Needless to say, it has been a very sad time for the family.
My hope is that by setting up the "go fund me page," it will help them to see "some light" through this dark tunnel they cannot help to feel caught in.
These girls have continuously given both their time and effort volunteering and working for both disabled individuals and animals in need, and now we are seeking funds to help them.
If your current circumstances allow, we would be most grateful if you considered donating to this fund. No amount is too small and would be greatly appreciated.
With sincere thanks, Debra Nelson-Doucette
