TRUTH Lounge Construction

As a single mother of 5, I have always dreamt of owning my own business. I always wanted my children to know the value and freedom of owning and controlling your finances. I now have an opportunity to make that dream a reality. After working in sales and management for a Fortune 500 company for over 15 years, and also in that time acquiring almost 10 years of experience in the nightclub/entertainment industry, I am venturing out and achieving my dream.

TRUTH Hookah/Cigar Lounge will be the first of its kind, in its perspective location with its cigar area and hookah/dance floor. I would be the first African American woman to own a hookah/cigar lounge in the area. I am attempting to raise $50k for the build of the space. The amount will be used for the construction of the lounge. From the countertops, to the floors, 4 bathrooms, 2 bars, ventilation system, security cameras, dry wall, lights and furniture.  The space will be used not only for entertainment purposes but also be a hub in rapidly gentrifying metropolitan area. By hosting community events to bring a sense of togetherness through networking events, empowerment events and other events to bring upon social justice, equality and a better society for our future generations.
