True North Community Church Restoration Effort

True North Community Church in Lansing, Michigan, was vandalized during a robbery on May 11th, 2022. The perpetrators stole and damaged over $5,000 in tools, computers, books, and two refrigerators. During the vandalization of our property, the perpetrators used fire extinguishers and covered our administrative offices and hallway. The dust covered the front portion of our sanctuary and damaged our TVs, fans, and the entire carpet. Additionally, due to the age of our carpets, the dust particles have made it impossible for us just to clean the carpets, and the corrosive material in the dust has damaged our electronics. As a result of this, all of the carpet on the main floor of our building will now have to be replaced due to the damage that has been done.

 

Although we have submitted an insurance claim, we are asking for help from our community to consider helping with the restoration efforts that we are now faced with. We appreciate your support during this time!
