Troy Sylvester Rehab and Recovery Fund

Seven days ago, my nephew, Troy Sylvester was involved in a very bad accident.  His vehicle was hit head-on and has suffered brain damage.

At the present time, he has 4-7 brain bleeds, small meningioma, a laceration with stitches, weakness on the left side, and a very bruised body.  While the neuro doctors think he will make a good recovery, he has a long road ahead of many different kinds of rehabilitation. 

Although we don't know the particulars, they are saying that he may have had a seizure that caused the accident. The people in the other vehicle suffered only minor bumps and bruises.

Troy was employed by a major food chain restaurant until a couple of months ago and because he no longer worked there, he was doing some food deliveries to help support his wife and young son.  Consequently, he had no insurance and now has no income or any way to earn it as they have taken his driver's license for a time due to the suspected seizure (medical condition).

His wife Cathy belongs to a singing group called Uptown Angels that is always donating their time and talents to our seniors and our veterans.  While they are not accustomed to asking for help I believe that it is time that we give back to this giving and loving family.  The medical bills, the medications, and lack of employment are weighing heavy on Troy's mind and we need to help take that burden from him.

I know that this is a bad time financially for most all of us but just know that the smallest of donations could make a big difference in their fragile lives right now.
