Troy’s Burn Recovery

On October 3rd, 2022 our father, Troy Dennis, was in a horrific work accident.

Troy was caught in direct line of a steam port, that busted open, striking his lower half of the body along with his left hand and both forearms. On top of the burns, once he became conscious again, he also slipped trying to get out of the room and dislocated his left shoulder. He was transported to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO to get his shoulder back into place. He was then transported down to the Swedish Medical Center located in Englewood, CO and placed in the burn unit with the best staff possible to address his wounds. This has left him with 2nd degree partial thickness burns to almost 10-20% of his body and a very sore shoulder that will need surgery as well, once burns are healed.

If your lucky enough to know my dad, you know that he is a dependable, lovable, hardworking, selfless human being, who wears all sorts of capes in our family and throughout the community, but further more, always puts others before himself.

My dad would never ask for anything but a prayer during this difficult time. So as his kids, we’re taking charge to seek out any donations that will put his mind at ease for future meals, gas expenses to and from future burn/shoulder appointments and surgeries along with any other expenses that may pop up.

From the bottom of all his kids hearts, we thank you for your thoughts, prayers and helping hands thus far as we navigate this new norm.
