Tropical Storm Harvey Reilef Fund

This is a fund that I am setting up for several families that I know personally that have lost everything that they own during Tropical Storm Harvey here in Friendswood, TX.  One friend of mine had to be rescued from his roof with his wife and 4 girls.  He didn't even have a chance to get his shoes before he had to get to the roof.  The devestation in our area is dramatic.  So many people that live away and have watched this through social media and TV may wonder how they can help.  There are many organizations that you can donate to.  If you would like to make sure that 100% of your funds go DIRECTLY to families that are in need, I can assure you that this is what this fund will be used for.  This fund will be used to purchase clothes, food, medicine, and other essentials that you would need everyday.  The financial toll is beyond what you can imagine when you lose everything.  Your donation will bless these families.  
I have an inital goal of $5000.  Please help me reach this right away.  Three families that I know of right away are staying with friends and are not sure of what their next place to stay will be at this point.  If we can go higher than $5000, we will.  I will treat this fund with complete accountability and there will be no administration fees or anything like that.  100% will go to families in need after fees are deducted for GoFundMe.  As I receive funds, I will purchase gift cards to hand out to families that we help as well as give funds directly to families I know personally that have lost everything from their homes being flooded.  When you lose everything, items that you may not think of such as medications and new furnishings/bedding is needed for your new place.  This fund will be used to help ease the burden of familes that are in this position - one that we all hope to never face ourselves.  For those of you who know me, I will post updates as to how the funds are being used (with the permission from those being helped) on my FaceBook page.  Please share this on your social media and for those that can, share something about me that can vouch for the fund and maybe will help people feel that this isn't a scam.   I'm sure there will be many popping up that are not legitimate, and that's a shame.  
There is no minimum donation.  Anything that you are able to contribute will be appreciated and put to use right away.
