Here we go friends! As many of you know and have read, I had a incident on January 2nd which has only escalated to where I am today. After 3 weeks of fighting pain, numbness, and no answers I finally have them. I came into Ascension Borgess Sunday to the ER after losing the ability to walk on Friday. I was admitted with an emergency MRI done at 2am. At 3:30am my doctor came back and told me I had metastatic bone cancer. After numerous other MRIs and a CT scan they have found lesions all down my neck, spine, and into my lower back. My brain has been cleared thank you Jesus. I have a spot on my liver and a right ovarian cyst hanging out too. Tomorrow I go for a bone marrow biopsy and my first appointment to start 5 rounds of radiation on Monday to hopefully shrink the lesions blocking my ability to walk.

I know I have been silent but I wanted to be sure I knew what was going on before I blasted it for all to know. Yes my breast cancer has metastasized into bone cancer. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Right now I am just numb trying to figure out this new battle from God and where this is going to leave me and my family. I will try to respond the best I can but its been a very long and painful day. Again, thank you all so much for checking in with and on April and I as we work and figure out a new future with this new diagnosis.
