Triple Threats for Tresses

We are raising money for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, this is important to us because we believe all kids deserve a life full of happiness and joy and believe that everyone who has cancer doesn’t have to live with the ridicule. We will each be chopping off and donating 10-12 inches of our hair. We will be donating the hair to A Child's Voice Foundation to make a wig for children with cancer. We have been wanting to donate our hair for 2 years, unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, we had to put that thought on hold. Finally, now, in October-November 2021 we are so happy that we get to donate our hair and to raise money for causes we truly believe in. Markéta: My grandfather had suffered from blood cancer and sadly passed away before I was born. I think back to how brave he must have been and hope to be as courageous as him. I think my friends and I will send awareness to our friends and families to make a difference. Olivia: A very close family friend suffered from breast cancer for 2-3 years. It took a lot of gut to go through all of the treatments she endured. One day, I hope I can be as fearless as her. Hayley: A lot of my family has suffered from cancer, my aunt beat ovarian cancer, my uncle is beating bone cancer and i'm so proud of him. Before I was born my grandparents both died of cancer. As you can see a lot of my family has been touched by cancer and I want to make a difference in a child's life. My nana had cancer when I was just born and she beat it.  She went through chemotherapy and it was not easy, I cannot even imagine a kid having to go through that and so I want to help-even if it just makes one small part easier.
