Trip to Yale University for Te'Mira

Hello everyone!
Our daughter, Te'Mira Moore, was nominated and subsequently invited to attend a Business Innovation program at Yale University. Te'Mira is the oldest of four children and is currently a sophomore at Sierra Pacific High School in Hanford, CA. She maintains a 4.0 GPA while simultaneously competing on her high school tennis team. Through the non-profit organization, California Scholarship Foundation, Inc., she’s consistently pushed to achieve academic excellence. While being a student-athlete, she's an active member of Winter Guard and Color Guard. In addition, she volunteers and does community service via the local chapters of her high school Key Club and S Club. Because of her school involvement and superb academic resume, she has met the criteria necessary to be invited to this incredible program. We are so excited for her and couldn’t be more proud of the work she has done thus far, and we know that this program will take her potential to new heights.  
As aforementioned, the summer program is a Business Innovation at Yale University. The total cost for the summer program is $3,500. This includes her round-trip plane ticket and payment for tuition. She will be staying in the dorms on the Yale University campus and be given two meals a day, with the intent of her getting the full college experience. As part of the curriculum, she will explore New York City, and while there, come up with a business plan that will be presented to a ‘Shark Tank’ style panel of business professionals who will critique the potential for her business venture to yield a significant profit.

This experience would ultimately help Te’Mira build her portfolio, assist her with getting into a top-tier college, and increase her eligibility for countless scholarships.
