Work in Africa with Orphans/Street Kids

I have felt called to work with orphans and street children in Africa ever since I was eight years old. I have prayerfully called out to God for the perfect time to do so. Nine years later, God has revealed to me that the time is now! I plan on going on a missions trip to Uganda for a month this summer! While there, I will be working with orphans, street children and in various villages. I am so excited to serve the children of Africa and bring them some joy, hope and fun! The trip will be challenging: physically, spiritually, and mentally. (There will be times I will not have electricity or running water). However, I know that the Lord wants me there and I want to be there and serve the kids and villages. I hope you choose to partner with me prayfully or financially to help me touch the lives of the kids in Uganda. 

My team and I will minister to over 200 children a week. Most of the children are orphans or street children. We will work in the slums and help with clean up, building projects at orphanages and various village outreaches. We will teach the kids praise songs, share Bible stories of hope, play games, make crafts, perform skits and lead panel discussions on topics relevant to their age group like HIV prevention, intergrity etc. I will be teaming up with Empower A Child. They are a non-profit organization that works with children in Africa and are currently trying to build a school. 

I need to raise $4,000 to be able to go and to also give a donation to the building of the school. I am asking for partners, to partner with me in both prayer and financial contributions. Thank you for prayerfully considering and joining me in being a part of something bigger than ourselves and helping the children of Africa. I will give a full report on all that God does in Africa and know that lives will be changed and transformed, including mine!
