Trina Vessey- THE Mama Bear

 On Monday, June 1st, Trina Vessey lost her battle with Breast Cancer after almost two and half years of being diagnosed.  She was just 46 years young and leaves behind her most prized treasures, Hala and Andres. She loved them fiercely and nothing made her happier than seeing them thrive. If ever there was a Mama Bear, she was it. Trina loved her sisters Danika and Tina, brothers Chad and Todd, niece Ashlyn, and nephews Aiden, Cole, Ryder, and Wyatt. Grampa also filled a special spot in her heart. Her life was filled with so many treasures and it would be impossible to name each of you…..all of her family members, neighbors who became dear friends, her work posse, the Wine Chicks, the Washington Forever Friends, the Hot Chicks, and countless others. Throughout many different chemo treatments, Trina was willing to try anything to gain more time with her loved ones, always hoping for a cure.  And although she never gave up, her body finally did. There were several points along the way, she could have said “enough”, but she rallied to fight for another day, all because she was not willing to let go. The outpour of love has been incredible and SO appreciated. A celebration of life will occur in the future. In the meantime, we have received countless requests for what help is needed.  In lieu of flowers, donating to this fund will help Hala and Andres with college tuition assistance so they can continue their amazing journey Trina has sent them on.  In the spirit of Mama Bear Trina, she would ask that we love and look after her treasures.
