To the Vermont Academy Class of 2013, Friends, Students, Family, and Fellow Alumni,
With our five year reunion vastly approaching, we are calling on you all to help celebrate our Class of 2013 President, Maggie's life and the memories she created at Vermont Academy. Maggie enrolled as a junior and was quickly embraced by her classmates, faculty and coaches. Throughout her time at VA, Maggie touched lives far beyond the Class of 2013.
During this years reunion, the Class of 2013 will be putting chairs on South Lawn with plaques dedicated to Maggie. As former students of Vermont Academy, we know that the time between classes and activities where we would spend talking to one another is where are fondest memories are. This spot on campus will be an opportunity to honor Maggie and make a place for VA students to share and connect with one another like Maggie would have done. Vermont Academy was a place Maggie and her family loved and created amazing memories throughout the years.
Vermont Academy holds a special place in all of our hearts. This is a chance to let Maggie's legacy live forever in writing just like she lives forever in our hearts.
We hope to raise enough to cover the cost of the chairs and plaques. All of the remaining money will be put in a scholarship to be awarded to a Vermont Academy student that embodies the same leadership, loyalty, and endearing attitude that Maggie had.
Thank you to everyone and we hope to see you all at the reunion this fall.
