Trey's Make a Wish Trip to Hawaii

Hi, many of you know that Austin's dear friend, Trey, has been battling leukemia "diagnosed with TCell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September 2021, just a few weeks into his senior year of high school". We thought for a while he was out of the woods.

On March 8th, Trey's dad posted this heartbreaking update.

Update from Tony…

"We had a good time visiting friends and family in Maryland a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everyone who took time to meet with us. This past weekend, Trey had a party filled couple of days with his friends at OSU. Next up is a trip to Florida to see Trey's grandfather, Sarasota and a quick trip to Disney.

In between our trips we met with Trey's oncologists and they gave us the heartbreaking news that there's no cure for Trey's cancer at this point. They don't know exactly how much time he has left, but said that it's most likely only months. Of course, this is not what we wanted to hear but we plan on making the best of the time we have together.

We're currently planning a trip to Hawaii next month through the Make A Wish foundation along with some smaller trips. We can't thank you all enough for all of the love and support you've given us. "

Trey is excited about Hawaii but nervous about the long flight and being comfortable, and I believe this first class young man deserves a first class flight to Hawaii. I've spoken to the travel agent and upgraded Trey and his mom to first class and asking for any donation to help out. If funds happen to exceed the amount, they will be given a credit at the hotel for dining and experiences.
